I enjoy working at Children’s National because I am encouraged to work at the top of my license and be an autonomous nurse. My coworkers go above and beyond every shift, every hour, with every patient, with every family and that inspires me day in and day out. I have been supported every step of my career and for that I am grateful.

I enjoy working at Children’s National because I love being able to positively impact children and their families’ lives, regardless of whether it’s by being their nurse during a long-term stay or simply being a friendly face in passing in the hallway!

From the moment I walked into Children’s National as a nursing student and saw the hot air balloons, I knew Children’s National was the place I wanted to work. I’m inspired every day by the care my colleagues provide to their patients and families. It has been amazing to work at a hospital where the standard is to go above and beyond. Children’s has made me grow into an amazing nurse through their educational programs and standards of care.

What I love about being a nurse here at Children’s National is the holistic approach we take to healing. I love getting to use my clinical knowledge to take care of kids with complex medical care needs as well as getting to use my knowledge of Disney songs and dances to make them smile or laugh.
